I'm almost done with the shopping, just a few more gifts to go. I've yet to even have to enter the mall. Then I've got to tackle the wrapping, about 1/2 way through I'll probably resort to the bags. I've done a lot of my shopping online this year and it's all already arrived except one gift for Niki, that I didn't order until Sunday, so it's gone pretty smooth so far. Stocking stuffers...I haven't gotten those yet!

Yesterday we went to see Santa. Both girls acted just as I expected, Ryan loved it and Camryn was terrified. The photographer snapped 3 with Camryn just screaming her head off, she asked if I wanted her to try again...

I guess she thought, Camryn would calm down...she doesn't know our Camryn. She was totally fine as soon as I took her off Santa's knee, but a few tears were worth the picture. It'll be the same next year, but I'm going to take them every year until they are just too old.

Camryn and mommy

Ahhh!

Ryan the scary tiger

She said she was going to scare daddy when he got home, but she got side-tracked when Blake came over to get his pictures that she drew for him for his birthday. She I think she has a little crush, (look out Mandy).

wasn't happy when we got home after his party and we'd forgot to give them to him.

Growing and changing

Camryn had her 18 month check-up yesterday...she's 22 lbs and 31 inches long, so she's in 25% for her age. We're thinking she's going to be smaller, where Ryan was always at the other end of the growth chart. Camryn had to get 2 shots, she screamed and cried for less than a minute and she was fine. As we pulled into the garage after the appt., I was telling Ryan that Cam's left leg may be sore for a few days and that she may even get a rash. Then I go to get her out of the backseat, she's just brawling...she said she didn't want Camryn to be hurt. She's so sensitive, she was still crying in her room five minutes later. So to make her feel better, I told her that it was her job as big sister, to make sure that everyone knew that Camryn's leg might be sore. She was good with that and she let Jared know as soon as he got home.

Never a dull moment at our house, as I was posting these new pictures...Ryan just stood in the door way of the kitchen saying, "Look at me, look at what I'm doing?" I look to see her standing there with her pants and panties down around her ankles. When asked, she said she was just checking to make sure she hadn't pooped her pants. I'm not sure why she's been talking about it so much in last few days...I hope it's not the calm before the storm. I can't even remember the last time she's had a #2 accident, I am sure that it is not something I want to experience anytime soon.

Camryn having the run of the house...

She was into everything, nothing out of the norm for her though.

More of the girls playin' in Piggott

She looks so guilty

Ryan and Mama playing, she has just brushed Mama's hair too!
Ryan and Camryn loved playing with their great-grandparents , but the drive to and from Piggott, was a little much. Being in their carseats that long was rough on them and even worse on me and Jared. Ryan talked or sang constantly and since Camryn won't sleep in car, she screamed and fussed much of trip. The trip back was a mess, we stopped several times, I think it was six to be exact...gas, dinner for the girls, Ryan and Daddy potty break, warning light in the car telling us to service the car (turned out the be nothing), dinner for us, Camryn poopie diaper (no changing table in restaurant) potty break for Daddy, five minutes after leaving restroom, Ryan tells us that she's pooped her pants! We both just cracked up to keep to strangling her...she quickly changed her story to just needing to poop. Went to Wal-Mart for the her relieve herself and I know there was at least one more potty break! Soooo needless to say, Thanksgiving is already planned for our house next year, no matter how crazy it turns out to be!

One of many games of Rook...
